Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir ,May 30, 2025: ANB Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday hailed the Border Security Force (BSF) for their unparalleled bravery and dedication during Operation Sindoor, which resulted in the destruction of 118 Pakistani posts and surveillance systems along the border. Speaking during his visit to Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir, Shah emphasized the crucial role the BSF plays in safeguarding the nation.
“The BSF soldier is the first to bear the brunt of any attack on the border,” Shah stated. “With pride in their hearts, a deep sense of patriotism, and the spirit of supreme sacrifice, the BSF has become a symbol of valor.”
Highlighting the success of Operation Sindoor, Shah commended the BSF for their unwavering commitment and operational excellence. He personally interacted with the jawans stationed in Poonch, extending heartfelt wishes and gratitude on behalf of the entire nation.
Shah’s visit comes amid increasing security challenges along the Line of Control (LoC), and his remarks underscored the government’s continued support for the armed forces, especially those operating in high-risk zones. ANB
