Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), conducted an intensive booth-level campaign in Main Market, Airport Budgam (Booth No. 125) and adjoining areas as part of the ongoing outreach drive for the upcoming Budgam Assembly by-election.
Ashok Koul was accompanied by BJP leader Sameer Ahmad and a team of dedicated local party activists who interacted with prominent residents and appealed for their wholehearted support for the BJP candidate from Budgam Assembly Constituency, Aga Syed Mohsin.
During the meetings, Ashok Koul emphasized the importance of vigorous and coordinated efforts by party activists at the grassroots level, asserting that booth workers are the backbone of BJP’s electoral strength. He said that the people of Budgam have witnessed the sincerity, stability, and service-oriented politics of the BJP. he said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir has moved from neglect to progress. The time has come for Budgam to choose development, empowerment, and transparency by voting overwhelmingly for the BJP, he asserted.
Koul highlighted that the Modi government has brought transformation in every sector, from infrastructure and connectivity to education, healthcare, and employment generation. Budgam, being the heart of central Kashmir, deserves to be an integral part of this unstoppable journey of peace, prosperity, and progress, he said.
Making a strong appeal to the locals, Ashok Koul urged every voter to come out in large numbers and cast their votes in favour of Aga Syed Mohsin to strengthen BJP’s mission of building a new Kashmir. A massive victory for the BJP in Budgam will not just be a political win, but a people’s endorsement of development, unity, and lasting peace, he added.
Koul called upon party workers to intensify door-to-door outreach, ensuring that the message of development and good governance reaches every household. The enthusiasm and faith of the people clearly show that Budgam stands firmly with the BJP’s vision for a strong and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
