Awantipora May 23, ANB, In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police Awantipora have intensified efforts to combat illegal mining activities in the Police district Awantipora and has seized 03 vehicles used in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals and Arrested 02 Persons.
According to News Service Associated, News Bureau, ANB, Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO PS Pampore Dy.SP (P) Shri Shravan Singh under the supervision of SDPO Pampore seized three tippers bearing registration numbers JK02AC-0482, JK04E-7286 & JK13E-6420
Driven by following persons:
1) Irfan Hassan Rather s/o Bashir Ahmad R/o Sumerbugh Lasjan.
2) Adil Ahmad Dar S/o Mukhtar Ahmad Dar R/o Hajibal Kakapora
Accordingly, case FIR NO. 60/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Pampore and further investigation has been initiated. ANB```
