BJP Holds Organizational Meet in Poonch, Focuses on Strengthening Party Cadre


Poonch, 09 December 2025:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a key district-level meeting in Poonch, chaired by J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul.

The meeting was also addressed by General Secretary Gopal Mahajan, District President S. Gurdeep Singh Khalsa, Seh Prabhari Rajesh Raina, former MLC Pardeep Sharma, ST Morcha President Ch. Abdul Ghani, and former District President Mohd. Chishti. It was attended by district office bearers, mandal presidents and general secretaries, morcha representatives, and senior party workers from across the district.

Ashok Koul outlined a comprehensive roadmap aimed at strengthening organizational coordination and expanding the party’s outreach. He emphasized that the BJP’s disciplined cadre is its greatest strength and called for closer coordination between district units, mandals, and morchas to enhance on-ground engagement.

Highlighting the significance of ongoing national programs under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat vision, Koul informed that Sushasan Diwas on 25 December would be observed at every booth with active public participation, reinforcing the party’s service-oriented approach.

Gopal Mahajan lauded the persistent efforts of the Poonch cadre and urged more cohesive functioning across all levels, emphasizing the need to strengthen booth-level mechanisms and expand public outreach to highlight the BJP’s development-driven agenda.

S. Gurdeep Singh Khalsa appreciated the active involvement of local activists and reaffirmed the commitment to fortify booth committees and improve welfare scheme delivery. Pardeep Sharma highlighted the government’s sustained focus on social welfare, infrastructure growth, and inclusive development.
