Srinagar — Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders reiterated the party’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and rapid progress in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to strengthen grassroots governance and welfare initiatives.
BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul lauded the proactive efforts of BJP MLAs in serving the needy and urged them to further intensify their outreach among the people. He said that the residents of Jammu and Kashmir have “seen through the politics of deceit” practiced by the National Conference (NC), Congress, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and are now aligning with the BJP’s vision of peace, prosperity, and empowerment.
Highlighting the party’s organizational strength, Koul underscored the importance of synergy between elected representatives and the cadre. “Our strength lies in our disciplined structure and commitment to service,” he stated.
Dr. Narinder Singh, another senior BJP leader, emphasized that the Modi government remains focused on grassroots development, ensuring that even the remotest regions benefit from its performance-oriented and accountable governance model.
During the meeting, BJP MLAs felicitated Sat Sharma on his election to the Rajya Sabha, extending wishes for a successful and people-centric tenure. They also expressed confidence that Sharma would continue to strengthen the party organization as its president.
The event also featured the unveiling of a book documenting the first-year achievements of MLA Dr. Bharat Bhushan, highlighting various developmental projects and welfare initiatives implemented in his constituency.
