DIPR Bids Farewell to Information Officer Syed Jeelani Qadri on Retirement
SRINAGAR, June 3: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on Wednesday accorded a warm farewell to Information Officer Syed Jeelani Qadri on his retirement after a distinguished career marked by dedication and professional excellence.
A farewell function was organised by the department in his honour and was presided over by Director Information Shreya Singhal. Senior officers, including Joint Director Information (Headquarters) Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina, Joint Director Information Kashmir Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, Deputy Director Information (PR/AV) Javid Ahmad Rather, Deputy Director (PR) Srinagar Rafiq Ahmad, Deputy Director (Headquarters) Kashmir Zubair Ahmad, and other officials of the department attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director Information commended Qadri’s valuable contributions to the department and highlighted his professionalism, commitment, and integrity throughout his service. She noted that his sincerity and work ethic earned him widespread respect among colleagues and peers.
Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina, in his address, praised Qadri’s unwavering dedication and his significant role in strengthening the department’s communication and public outreach efforts. He acknowledged his exemplary service record and extended best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling retired life.
Deputy Director Information (PR/AV) Javid Ahmad Rather described Qadri as a dependable and compassionate officer whose guidance and cooperative approach served as an inspiration to colleagues during his tenure.
In his farewell remarks, Syed Jeelani Qadri expressed gratitude to the department’s leadership and staff for their support and cooperation over the years.
