Srinagar, October 14, 2025: The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), during its National Executive Committee Meeting (NECM) held today, announced Mr. Anant Goenka as the President-Elect for the year 2025–26.
Currently serving as Senior Vice President of FICCI, Mr. Goenka will assume the role of President after the conclusion of FICCI’s 98th Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to be held on November 28–29, 2025 in New Delhi. He will succeed Mr. Harsha Vardhan Agarwal.
Mr. Anant Goenka is Vice Chairman of the RPG Group, a USD 5 billion diversified conglomerate with interests spanning tyres, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, IT, and speciality sectors.
A seasoned industry leader, Mr. Goenka previously served as Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA) and as Managing Director & CEO of CEAT from 2012 to 2023. Under his leadership, CEAT underwent a transformative decade, witnessing a 25-fold rise in market capitalisation. The company also earned Lighthouse recognition from the World Economic Forum and, in 2023, became the first tyre manufacturer globally to win the Deming Grand Prize—the highest honour for Total Quality Management.
Before joining CEAT, Mr. Goenka gained valuable experience at Unilever and KEC International. His contributions have been widely recognised: he received the Kabiller Science of Empathy Prize from the Kellogg School of Management in 2023, was named ‘Next Generation Business Leader of the Year’ by Forbes in 2017, and was listed among India’s 40 Under 40 Business Leaders by The Economic Times–Spencer Stuart.
An alumnus of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a BS in Economics, Mr. Goenka also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
