Srinagar, April 5, ANB, In north Kashmir Bahaullah district, a massive forest fire has started in Laridora Chandoosa since last evening.
According to news service, associated news bureau, Anb, Fire and Emergency Services officials, police and local youth have rushed to the spot and are currently engaged in efforts to bring the fire under control. Eyewitnesses reported hearing crackling sounds and witnessing large trees engulfed in flames as the blaze intensified due to dry conditions and gusty winds.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, however, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage to residential areas. Authorities have urged nearby residents to stay vigilant and avoid venturing close to the affected forest zone, where the fire is underway. ANB
