*Hundreds Kashmiri pandits participated in pooja at Mata Zeashta Devi Mandir in Srinagar




Srinagar, April 6, ANB, Ram Navami is being celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm in different parts of the country today. 
Hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits from various parts of the country thronged the Mandhar of Mata Zeashta Devi in Srinagar for the Navratri Celebration. LG Manoj Sinha also participated in the poja.
According to News Service, Associated News Bureau, ANB, The festival marks the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. 
Ram Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of the Chaitra month. Prior to Ram Navami, Hindus observe a fast for nine days (Navratri) leading up to the festival.
While talking to Associated News Bureau correspondent , Swami Dharmanand Surusvati who had come from Haridwar has organised a hawan in the Mandhar premises, said that after several years today's Puja was organised on the occasion of Ram navmi. 
He said that the Mandhar is symbol of unity among all religions. As local muslims also visited the mandir ,Sr.political thinker and strategist , Surinder Ambardhar has extended best wishes  to people on Ramnovmi.
Chairman Loul cultural foundation Gazi Ajaz said that Kashmiri Muslims celebrate this day as Navreh, where families of all Communities of kashmir valley get together and visit temples and extend their best wishes to Hindu community.
On The occasion Senior leaders and Socio political activists including.   Senior BJP leader of UP and MLA Shailesh Singh shailu ,Gh mohidin zab, G M sofi, Ashok koul ji,  J A sofi , Mr Ajmal, Shri Bhat Fayaz  were also present in the Mandhar.
Special poja were held in different parts of Kashmir division, Ramnovmi today. ANB.
