Jammu, December 9: ANB: Jammu and Kashmir is set to host the first-ever International Dangal and Rustam-e-Jammu Kashmir Title 2025 at MA Stadium, Jammu, on 17 December, marking a significant moment for the region’s sporting landscape.
The event will feature top wrestlers from India, Iran and other countries, bringing global talent to the Union Territory and offering spectators a rare opportunity to witness high-level traditional wrestling on home soil.
Officials told the News Service Associated News Bureau ANB that the championship aims not only to promote the rich wrestling heritage of the region but also to boost tourism and encourage youth to embrace fitness, discipline and sportsmanship. The international participation is expected to enhance cultural exchange and showcase the vibrant spirit of Jammu and Kashmir.
