LG Manoj Sinha Urges NCC Cadets to Lead Nation-Building with Unity and Values

Srinagar, May 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday attended the ‘Special National Integration Camp’ organised by the NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh in Srinagar, where he interacted with NCC cadets from across the country and called upon the youth to become ambassadors of unity, patriotism and national development. Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor described the Special National Integration Camp as a living symbol of India’s spirit, asserting that every cadet participating in the camp is not only witnessing history but actively contributing towards shaping the nation’s future. He said India places immense hope and confidence in its youth and expects the younger generation to take the country to greater heights through dedication, discipline and commitment towards national values. “India places its hope and confidence in its youth, trusting that the young generation will lead the nation to greater heights. NCC cadets must honour that trust by living the values of the NCC and spreading them across communities,” the Lieutenant Governor said. Highlighting the significance of India’s cultural diversity, the Lieutenant Governor observed that the country’s greatest strength lies in its ability to transform diversity into unity and bind different cultures into one shared national spirit. He urged the cadets to utilise the leadership skills and values acquired during the camp for the betterment of society and to carry forward the spirit of patriotism among youth in their respective states and cities with responsibility and dedication. “The values of unity in diversity and leadership qualities learned at this camp must be put to use in improving society. Equally important is the seed of patriotism sown here, which should be carried forward with full responsibility and commitment,” he said.
