Srinagar, Nov 05 (ANB): Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma was today hosted by A P Vicky Shaw Chairman of the PHDCCI Kashmir, along with tArshad Nizam Shawl Chairman of the Sports & Entertainment Committee PHDCCI New Delhi and Himayoun Wani along with the esteemed Executive Committee (EC) members, at the PHDCCI House in Rajbagh, Srinagar.
The meeting focused on a range of important topics, including Information Technology, Sports and various Industries. According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB), the Chairman provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges currently affecting trade and business across Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the pressing need for targeted support and strategic initiatives.
The EC Members contributed valuable suggestions aimed at stimulating employment generation in the region.
During the discussions, the Minister listened attentively to the recommendations offered by Arshad Shawl, Himayoun Wani, Madina Mir, Er. Pervaiz Kaiser, Bilal Kawoosa, Shabir Abdullah, Shahid Khan, and CA- Anil Sharma, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and respect.
During the interaction, Sharma assured the members of PHDCCI that the government is focused on improving the living standards of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He highlighted that priorities will be set to ensure that the region's resources and facilities are entrusted for the benefit of its residents. (ANB)
