MP Khatana Urges Students to Become Agents of Change Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

BUDGAM, June 4: ANB; Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana on Wednesday called upon the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to take a leading role in the fight against drug abuse and contribute actively towards building a progressive and drug-free society. The MP was addressing students during the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan programme held at Spring Buds Educational Institute in Budgam. Emphasizing the importance of youth participation in social transformation, Khatana said that young people possess the energy and potential to drive positive change and safeguard society from the growing threat of substance abuse. He praised the students for their enthusiastic involvement in the anti-drug campaign and described their commitment to the cause as encouraging. Stressing the importance of education and character-building, he urged the youth to remain focused on their academic pursuits and play a constructive role in nation-building. Highlighting the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Khatana called for coordinated efforts by educational institutions, parents, community leaders, and government agencies to eliminate the menace of drug addiction. Reaffirming his commitment to youth welfare and empowerment, the parliamentarian appealed to students to serve as ambassadors of awareness and change, and work collectively towards realizing the vision of a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
