Jammu, Dec 07, ANB: Senior BJP leader and MLA Ranbir Singh Pathania today said the OBC’s and other backward classes just like in the rest of the country have got a reservation in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB, Pathania said that it was for the first time just like the other counterparts in the country ST's have got political reservation also and the ages and decades old demand of Pahari speaking people of reservation in (jobs and more so political reservation.
“The National Conference is trying to revive the files of separatism which were dismantled by the previous LG govt. and they are trying to create wedges between communities on the basis of religions and regions.
Pathania said the government has constituted a cabinet subcommittee also with a view to scuttling these ages or decades older stalled reservations and Mehbooba Mufti the president of Peoples Democratic Party has issued a controversial tweet there by just trying to mislead people. “The fact remains that Bharatiya Janata Party believes in the politics of inclusion and the politics of Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas,” he said.
