Srinagar, July 23, 2025:
The newly appointed office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kashmir Division, held an interactive session with the party’s General Secretary (Organisation), Shri Ashok Koul, at the BJP headquarters, S1 Church Lane, Srinagar.
Prominent BJP leaders who attended the meeting included Dr. Shehnaz Ganai (Vice President, J&K BJP), Anwar Khan (General Secretary), Dr. Darakshan Andrabi (Chairperson, J&K Waqf Board), Mudassir Wani and Arif Raja (Secretaries), Adv. Sajid Yousuf (Media Co-Incharge), Sajjad Raina (Social Media Co-Incharge), Sartaj Majid (IT Co-Incharge), and Bilal Parray (All Cell Co-Incharge).
The discussion centered around strengthening the party’s organizational framework in the Kashmir Division, improving grassroots outreach, and aligning the local leadership with the BJP’s broader vision for Jammu and Kashmir.
Welcoming the new team, Ashok Koul congratulated the appointees and urged them to work with renewed dedication and zeal. “Every office bearer has a crucial role in translating our vision for Kashmir into actionable initiatives on the ground,” he stated. “You represent the party at the grassroots level — your connection with the people will determine the BJP’s strength and future in the Valley.”
Koul emphasized the importance of community engagement and issue-based politics, encouraging the team to focus on public service and proactive outreach. “Discipline, dedication, and dialogue should be your guiding principles,” he said. “Our mission is to reach every household, understand their concerns, and present BJP as a credible and responsive political force committed to the welfare of all sections of society.”
He also underscored the need for coordination, teamwork, and accountability within the organization. Calling for united efforts, he urged the newly appointed functionaries to uphold party values and contribute meaningfully to the vision of a peaceful, progressive, and inclusive Kashmir.
