Kupwara, Jan 10, ANB: Continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society and to take stringent actions against drug peddlers, Police arrested drug peddler in Handwara and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
According to Associated News Bureau (ANB), a police party of Police Station Handwara during patrolling at Herpora Handwara apprehended one person identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Mohd Sultan Dar @Jungli resident of Lachipora Handwara. During his search, 08 grams of Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 11/25 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Handwara and investigation set into motion. (ANB)
