Srinagar, Oct 16(ANB): Stating that it is positive for J&K to have an elected government after a decade, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said that the new government should pass a resolution to condemn the August 5, 2019 decision of the central government.
Addressing reporters in Srinagar, she said, "It is good that J&K has its own elected government, and this is a crucial period for the people. Since 2019, they have faced difficulties that the government needs to address."
"The new government should tackle the issues faced by the people on a large scale and pass a resolution condemning the August 5, 2019 decision. Additionally, the government should address unemployment, drug addiction, and other serious issues," she stated.
"People have given a full mandate to the NC, and it should fulfill the expectations of the people of J&K now that it is in power," she added.(ANB)
