Sunil Sharma Hails Union Budget, Terms Rs 41,000 Cr Allocation for J&K a 'Landmark Moment'


Srinagar, Feb 03, ANB: BJP's MLA from Padder Nagseni and Leader of Opposition in J&K Assembly, Sunil Sharma, has welcomed the new union budget presented by the Government of India.

According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB),Sharma hailed the allocation of Rs. 41,000 crores for Jammu and Kashmir, terming it a "landmark moment" for the region.

According to Sunil Sharma, this significant allocation will propel J&K's development journey forward, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that the BJP Government has opened new doors of development, especially inclusive development, in Jammu and Kashmir, and remarkable changes are visible on grounds.

The BJP leader emphasized that the union budget is a crucial step towards transforming Jammu and Kashmir into a 'Naya Jammu and Kashmir', building on the vast development initiatives already undertaken in the region.

He said the union budget's focus on infrastructure development, healthcare, and education is expected to have a positive impact on J&K's economy and the lives of its citizens.

With the union budget paving the way for unprecedented development in J&K, Sharma urged the people of the region to work together to ensure that the benefits of the budget reach every corner of the state.

He further discussed the budget presented at national level saying the new tax regime as well as other provisions of the new budget are a welcome step for every single household of the country and will pave the way for moving ahead on making India more developed and strong. (ANB)
