Veteran J&K Bank Chief Manager Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat Retires, Receives Grand Farewell from Officers' Associations
Srinagar, Aug 1 (ANB): Veteran trade union leader and Jammu & Kashmir Bank Chief Manager, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, was accorded a warm farewell on his retirement after an illustrious career marked by decades of dedicated service to the banking sector and the officers' movement.
The farewell function was jointly organised by the All India Jammu & Kashmir Bank Officers' Association (AIJKBOA), Kashmir, the All India JK Bank Officers' Federation (AIJKBOF), and the concerned department. The event was attended by senior bank executives, office bearers of officers' associations, colleagues, staff members, and well-wishers.
Addressing the gathering, AIJKBOA Kashmir President Zubair Mir, General Secretary Jan Mohammad Sufi, and other speakers paid rich tributes to Bhat's significant contribution to the banking profession and the trade union movement. They described him as a principled and committed leader who consistently worked for the welfare of employees while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
The speakers also commended his integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth and progress of Jammu & Kashmir Bank, extending their best wishes for a healthy, peaceful, and fulfilling post-retirement life.
In his remarks, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat expressed gratitude to the bank management, colleagues, customers, members of AIJKBOA Kashmir, AIJKBOF, and all well-wishers for their continuous support and cooperation throughout his career. He said serving Jammu & Kashmir Bank and its customers had been a privilege and that he would always cherish the professional relationships and memories built over the years.
The function concluded with the presentation of mementos and bouquets, followed by interactions with colleagues and well-wishers, who extended their heartfelt wishes for his successful and healthy retired life.
