Srinagar, October 13: ANB:Ahsanul Haq Chishti on Monday assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Wullar Manasbal Development Authority (WMDA) following his transfer and posting to the position.
Chishti, who earlier served in the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) as Deputy Director (PR) Kashmir, is widely regarded as a friendly and approachable officer known for his cordial relations with information department employees and the journalist fraternity.
Upon his arrival at WMDA, Chishti was accorded a warm welcome by officials of the Authority and local stakeholders. According to the news service Associated News Bureau ANB Correspondent,
Soon after taking charge, he inspected various assets and developmental sites under the Authority, directing officials to ensure their proper upkeep, maintenance, and sustainable management. He stressed the need to further enhance the region’s eco-tourism potential through efficient planning and community participation. ANB
