Army Commander Reviews Operational Preparedness of Troops in High-Altitude Ladakh
Ladakh, September 4: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, visited forward locations in Ladakh to review the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the challenging high-altitude areas.
During his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander commended all ranks for their exemplary professionalism, high morale, unwavering vigilance and steadfast commitment to duty despite the difficult weather conditions and demanding terrain.
Lieutenant General Sharma emphasised the importance of discipline, physical fitness and regular training to maintain a high level of operational readiness. He also stressed the need to strengthen innovation, synergy and technological capabilities to ensure mission readiness across domains.
The Army Commander called upon the troops to continue striving for excellence in all spheres while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and operational preparedness. ANB
