Government Approves Six Free LPG Cylinders Annually for AAY Families in J&K

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the provision of six free LPG cooking gas cylinders per year to families covered under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) across the Union Territory. The initiative is aimed at providing direct assistance to economically vulnerable households and easing their household expenditure on cooking fuel. The announcement was made by Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Satish Sharma in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Thursday. The measure is intended to extend targeted relief to eligible AAY families and strengthen government welfare support for economically disadvantaged sections of society.
