POONCH, MAY 12, ANB: Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana visited Jamia Zia Ul Uloom Poonch, expressing empathy over damages and sympathy for the unfortunate loss of Qari Muhammad Iqbal due to shelling from across the LoC.
According to News Service, Associated News Bureau, ANB, Maulana Syed Habib briefed the Minister on the extent of damage caused by shelling in Poonch and specifically at Zia Ul Uloom.
Minister praised the institute's management who beside NGOs and administration made commendable efforts in assisting people during adversity.
The Minister emphasized the importance of humanitarian work in conflict-affected regions, acknowledging the role of civil society organizations and individuals. ANB
