Srinagar, May 17: In a move aimed at enhancing access to banking services, J&K Bank has installed a new Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hospital in Srinagar.
The ATM was formally inaugurated by M. Rafi, Vice Chairman of the Srinagar Development Authority, in the presence of the Bank’s Zonal Head (Srinagar) Raja Zaffar, Cluster Heads (I & II), hospital owners, and a large gathering of customers and attendants.
Commending the initiative, M. Rafi said, “The installation of this ATM is a commendable step that will significantly ease the financial transactions of patients, attendants, and hospital staff at this busy healthcare facility.”
Zonal Head Raja Zaffar emphasized the Bank’s focus on accessibility, stating, “J&K Bank remains committed to expanding its service network to key public spaces in order to serve the community more effectively.”
The newly installed ATM will provide 24x7 access to essential banking services such as cash withdrawals and account inquiries, benefiting not only the hospital’s patients and staff but also the nearby residents.
