J&K BJP Holds Introductory Meeting with Newly Appointed Seh-Prabhari Reena Kashyap , Sat Sharma calls for intensified organisational efforts; Ashok Koul stresses commitment to core value

Jammu, October 2: The Jammu and Kashmir BJP on Friday held an introductory meeting with newly appointed Seh-Prabhari of the party’s J&K unit and Pachhad MLA from Himachal Pradesh, Reena Kashyap, at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The meeting was chaired by J&K BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma and addressed by General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, Rajya Sabha MP Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana and General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan. Kashyap interacted with J&K BJP office-bearers, Morcha presidents, spokespersons, district in-charges, district presidents and other senior party leaders. The interaction provided her an opportunity to acquaint herself with the organisational structure, ongoing activities and priorities of the party in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma said BJP workers in Jammu and Kashmir have consistently worked in a challenging socio-political environment and demonstrated sustained commitment to the organisation. Appreciating the dedication of the cadre, he called upon party workers to further intensify organisational activities and strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He also reviewed programmes being undertaken under the month-long Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan, emphasising effective implementation and people-centric outreach. During her interaction with the state team, Reena Kashyap said a BJP worker remains a lifelong learner who continuously gains new experiences, knowledge and organisational skills. She said party workers have consistently taken up challenging responsibilities and expressed confidence in the energy and commitment of the J&K BJP cadre. Ashok Koul described party workers as the core strength of the organisation and stressed the need for maintaining clarity of purpose and adherence to organisational values while discharging responsibilities. He said organisational development is a continuous process requiring sustained efforts and commitment. Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana said BJP workers had made sustained efforts and sacrifices while working for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted developmental initiatives undertaken in the Union Territory under the Narendra Modi-led government and said the region would continue to progress through sustained efforts and organisational engagement. The proceedings were conducted by General Secretary Gopal Mahajan, while General Secretary Sanjita Dogra delivered the vote of thanks.
