Srinagar, April 18 : Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Friday reaffirmed the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s commitment to bolstering its counter-terrorism capabilities and enhancing efforts to tackle cybercrime.
Speaking at a passing out parade ceremony held in Central Kashmir, DGP Prabhat emphasized the department's strategic focus on evolving threats.
“We are continuously strengthening the counter-terrorism grid and intensifying efforts against cyber criminals,” he said.
The DGP expressed gratitude to the Central Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs for their unwavering support.
“We are thankful to the Centre and the MHA for equipping us with the necessary resources and standing firmly with us,” he added.
Highlighting the force’s dedication to its personnel, DGP Prabhat reassured that the J&K Police remain committed to supporting the families of fallen heroes.
“We stand by the families of our martyrs and honour their ultimate sacrifice,” he said.
Congratulating the new recruits, the DGP welcomed them into the force with high praise.
“You are now part of one of the finest police forces in the country. I see discipline, dedication, and determination in you. I wish you all the very best as you embark on this noble journey,” he told the pass-outs.
