LG Manoj Sinha Addresses Officers of Higher Command Course-54 at Raj Bhawan


Srinagar, August 1: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday interacted with officers of the Higher Command Course-54 from the Army War College, Mhow, during a session held at the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar. According to the News Service Associated News Bureau ANB, Addressing the officers and faculty members, the Lieutenant Governor discussed a wide range of contemporary geo-political and geo-strategic issues, with a special focus on counter-terrorism strategies and the whole-of-government approach to dismantling terror networks.

“We must vow to eliminate every terrorist and terrorist organization that threatens our safety, security, and prosperity,” LG Sinha said during the interaction. He lauded the dedication and sacrifice of the armed forces, saying, “I congratulate and thank the outstanding officers of the three services for keeping all citizens safe and safeguarding the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the country.”

Highlighting the progress made in the Union Territory in recent years, the Lieutenant Governor outlined key reforms and initiatives undertaken by the J&K administration and security agencies to foster inclusive development and lasting peace.

The session was attended by Lt Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi, Commandant of the Army War College, along with senior faculty members and top officials from various security forces. ANB
