New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the three-day DGsP/IGsP Conference held in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken India’s police forces a significant step forward in shaping a stronger, more secure nation.
Shah stated that the Prime Minister’s “visionary insights and inspiration” gave the conference a renewed direction, particularly in preparing the security apparatus for emerging challenges and ensuring safety of citizens in a rapidly changing environment.
He noted that the professional capability and policing preparedness of India’s forces have been further sharpened, equipping them to safeguard the nation against any potential threat. The conference, attended by top police and intelligence officials from across the country, focused on strengthening internal security mechanisms, technological integration, and coordinated responses to modern security challenges.
