Billawaria emphasized that these padyatras are a tool to mass awakening. Just as Sardar Patel united the princely states into one India, these padyatras will unite the hearts of the people. They will showcase a miniature India on the streets, celebrating our diversity under the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, he said.
He said that after the district-level padyatras, select participants will travel by road to Karamsad, Gujarat, joining representatives from across the country. “From November 26, which is Constitution Day, padyatris from all over India will march 152 kilometres from Karamsad to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, symbolising India’s unity,” he added.
