Budgam Police Personnel Honoured for Busting Fake Job Racket, Advancing Digital Beat Policing
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 9: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Sujit Kumar Singh, IPS, felicitated police personnel of District Budgam for their exemplary performance in policing, including the exposure of a fake employment syndicate and the adoption of a Digital Beat Policing System.
During the felicitation ceremony, commendation certificates, appreciation letters and rewards were presented to the officers and personnel in recognition of their professional dedication and contributions to public safety. The event was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Pandey, IPS.
Those honoured included SSP Budgam Hariprasad KK, IPS; SDPO Magam Ashrif Lissery, JKPS; SHO Police Station Beerwah Mudassir Nassar; SHO Police Station Magam Khurshid Awan; and 17 other police personnel.
The team of Police Station Beerwah was recognised for its significant role in exposing a fake employment syndicate, highlighting its efforts in investigation and action against employment-related fraud.
Meanwhile, Police Station Magam was appreciated for implementing the Digital Beat Policing System, an initiative aimed at strengthening technology-driven policing and enhancing public service delivery.
The recognition highlighted the importance of professional commitment, effective investigation and the adoption of digital solutions in improving policing standards.
