As part of the Khelo India Scheme’s Fit India Movement, the Srinagar Sector of CRPF organised a Cycle Campaign today from the iconic Lal Chowk Clock Tower to SKICC, promoting health, fitness, and national spirit.
The campaign was flagged off by DIG Srinagar South, PK Singh, and witnessed enthusiastic participation of CRPF officers and personnel, who pedaled with patriotic fervor across the scenic route, symbolising commitment to fitness and unity.
The initiative, under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aligns with the broader vision of a fitter India, engaging security forces in nation-building efforts beyond their call of duty. The cycling event also drew public attention and admiration, adding momentum to the Fit India message.
The CRPF spokesperson noted that such events foster camaraderie, improve physical well-being, and inspire the youth to adopt healthier lifestyles.
