Srinagar, July 1, ANB, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board and Minister of State, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, today visited the historic Imambara in Zadibal, Srinagar, to assess the arrangements being made for the upcoming Muharram commemorations. She was accompanied by BJP Srinagar District President Advocate Sheikh Salman, Zadibal Constituency President Suhail Ahmad, and Syed Muzaffar Rizvi. According to news service, Associated News Bureau, ANB, During her visit, Dr Andrabi offered prayers at the Imambara and engaged with several public delegations to understand their concerns and suggestions. Speaking to the media, Dr Andrabi said, “The supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) is a timeless message that truth ultimately prevails over falsehood. Imam Hussain (AS) is the everlasting inspiration for all those who uphold the flag of truth without yielding to injustice.” She emphasized that the essence of Muharram lies in its message of unity and harmony, transcending sectarian divides and promoting collective spiritual reflection.
