New Delhi, May 17 , ANB ;Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday inaugurated the newly upgraded Multi-Agency Centre (MAC) at North Block, New Delhi. Developed with a budget of ₹500 crore, the state-of-the-art facility aims to strengthen Bharat's internal security framework.
The new MAC is designed to act as a central hub for coordinating and synergising the efforts of various security and intelligence agencies. It will play a crucial role in detecting and countering threats related to terrorism, insurgency, organised crime, and cyber attacks. According to the News Service Associated News Bureau ANB,Highlighting the government’s commitment to national security, Shah stated that the upgraded MAC reflects a forward-looking approach to counter complex and evolving security challenges through real-time intelligence sharing and strategic coordination.
