IGP Jammu Leads Route March, Reviews Security Preparedness Across City
JAMMU: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, accompanied by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu, and other senior police officers, conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements in Jammu city.
As part of the exercise, the police team led a route march from Apsara Road in Gandhi Nagar to Satwari, assessing the security situation and reviewing arrangements along the route.
The senior officers inspected the deployment of police personnel, evaluated operational preparedness and interacted with personnel stationed at various points. They also stressed the importance of vigilance, coordination and prompt response to any emerging security or public-safety challenge.
The exercise was aimed at strengthening police visibility, maintaining law and order and ensuring effective security arrangements for the safety and security of the public across the city. ANB
