Srinagar, August 22: ANB ; Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday dismissed two government employees for alleged terror links, exercising powers under Article 311 (2)(c) of the Constitution.

Officials said a detailed probe confirmed that Khurshid Ahmed Rather, a teacher posted in Karnah, and Siyad Ahmad Khan, an Assistant Stockman in the Sheep Husbandry Department at Keran—both in Kupwara district—were actively working for Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Law enforcement and intelligence agencies, according to the administration, had gathered “clinching evidence” of their involvement, following which their services were terminated “in the interest of the security of the state.” ANB
