Jammu, January 30: Senior officers and officials of the Police Headquarters (PHQ), Armed Police Headquarters (APHQ) and Telecommunications observed a two-minute silence on Thursday to commemorate Martyrs’ Day, at the lawns of the Police Headquarters in Jammu.
The Additional Director General, Armed, Anand Jain, led the officers and officials in paying tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the freedom of the nation.
Inspector General of Police (POS) Uttam Chand; Deputy Inspectors General posted at PHQ, including Nisha Nathyal and Mubassir Latifi; DIG IRP Jammu Vinod Kumar; Director Police Telecommunications J&K J.S. Johar; Assistant Inspectors General at PHQ; Staff Officer to the ADGP Armed; and other gazetted officers and staff participated in the solemn observance.
