Jammu, Jan 15, ANB: Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP inaugurated the MAC Unisex Salon at Main Road, Chinor, opposite J&K Bank, Bantalab.
Former Deputy Mayor Baldev Billawaria, District President Jammu North Omi Khajuria, District General Secretary Ajay Sharma, Hira Lal Bhat, Pankaj Sharma, and Kapil Chib were present on the occasion.
According to the Associated News Bureau, Sat Sharma, while inaugurating the center, lauded the owners Ankush Garnai and Ajay Takoo for their venture which they started with the support of J&K Grameen Bank. He expressed confidence that the salon would provide expert service at a genuine price and would become a preferred destination for quality grooming services. He emphasized the importance of successful collaboration between local entrepreneurs and the bank’s efforts to support small businesses and said that such collaborations are boosting local businesses and employment adding that this venture will use the services of 8 persons and will also provide services as the training center for the future entrepreneurs in the field.
“The Modi government has made substantial efforts to boost the local employment opportunities with the self-employment ventures and it is heartening to see the youth passionately pursuing entrepreneurship to achieve success and particularly the zeal to give employment opportunity to others as well”, said Sat Sharma.
Baldev Billawaria and Omi Khajuria also praised the venture for not only providing exceptional services but also creating job opportunities for the youth in the region.
Owners said that the salon offers a wide range of beauty and grooming services for both men and women, combining modern facilities with skilled professionals to ensure a world-class experience. The funding provided by J&K Grameen Bank has played a pivotal role in making this dream a reality, highlighting the bank’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurship and economic growth in the region.
