Jammu, December 24:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today extended his heartiest greetings to the people on the joyous occasion of Christmas.
In his message, the Lieutenant Governor said that Christmas is a festival of joy, hope and compassion, which inspires people to spread love and harmony in society. He expressed hope that the festive occasion would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and bring happiness to all.
Referring to the birth of Jesus Christ, the Lieutenant Governor said that the festival serves as a reminder to imbibe the teachings of love, compassion and forgiveness in everyday life. He added that the occasion inspires everyone to renew their commitment towards the welfare of one another and work collectively for a prosperous future.
The Lieutenant Governor further wished that the spirit of Christmas would encourage people to help those in need and bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all.
