Jammu, December 19, 2025:
Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today released the fourth edition of “Kartavya Marg”, the annual in-house magazine published by Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust, at Lok Bhawan.

Congratulating the editor and all those associated with the publication, the Lieutenant Governor lauded the Trust for its sustained efforts in promoting India’s ancient knowledge traditions, Vedic sciences, folk culture and astrology, while strengthening moral awareness and cultural pride in society.

The Lieutenant Governor said India’s comprehensive knowledge system, rooted in the Vedas and guided by a holistic worldview, offers effective solutions to contemporary challenges. He observed that ancient texts such as the Vedas and Upanishads are rich repositories of knowledge in mathematics, medicine, physics, botany, chemistry, arts and humanities, and remain profoundly relevant in building a resilient society.

Highlighting the importance of initiatives like “Kartavya Marg”, the Lieutenant Governor said such endeavours play a crucial role in reconnecting the younger generation with India’s cultural heritage. He emphasized that the youth must imbibe ancient values and ideals in present-day life.

The Lieutenant Governor further noted that Indian culture, ethics and values help navigate complex challenges and cultivate virtues that promote harmony and a sense of oneness in society. He added that India’s ancient knowledge systems provide a blueprint for a successful modern world by ensuring collective well-being, promoting sustainable development and innovation, and offering a holistic framework to effectively address challenges such as climate change.
