My youth my pride  Assiduous efforts of j&k sports council has revived the game of lawn tennis in j&k . Multiple lawn tennis courts have been built in Gindun stadium srinagar and ma stadium Jammu to provide the infrastructure to the children  . The revival of lawn tennis association under jksc norms and sports code has yielded results in terms of training facilities and competition podiums to the children .  Talent Series-7 Tennis Tournament (TS7) ) of All India Tennis Association was inaugurated at MA stadium.  This is for the first time that an AITA tournament was awarded to J&K which will go a long way in promotion of tennis in the state.  In this format only AITA registered players can participate from all over the country.  21 entries of boys and 8 entries of girls were received by the JKLTA. Most of the players are from Punjab, Haryana, and Deihi besides J&K. Lot of dignitaries and other sports personalities were present in the occasion .
