Service, Creativity and Social Responsibility Highlight Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan: Ashok Koul
Srinagar, September 24: J&K BJP State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul participated in a series of programmes organised in Srinagar under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, highlighting themes of public service, social responsibility and youth participation.
J&K BJP Vice-President Dr. Shehnaz Ganai, J&K BJP Secretary Mudasir Wani, Srinagar District President Adv. Sheikh Salman and other senior party leaders accompanied Koul during the programmes.
Koul attended the Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang Rangoli programme at Jagger’s Park, Rajbagh, where participants showcased Rangoli artwork centred on themes of service, dedication, national development and their vision for a developed India.
Appreciating the enthusiasm and creativity of the participants, Koul said such activities provide a platform, particularly for young people, to express their ideas while engaging with themes related to social and national development.
He said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan was being conducted through a range of activities aimed at encouraging public participation and promoting a culture of voluntary service.
Koul later visited a blood donation camp organised by the Srinagar district team at J-1, Srinagar. He interacted with blood donors and appreciated their participation, observing that voluntary blood donation provides direct assistance to people requiring medical support.
He also participated in the Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva drawing competition at Linton Hall School, Rajbagh. Students expressed their aspirations for a progressive and developed India through paintings and drawings. Participating students were presented certificates in recognition of their participation and performance.
Dr. Shehnaz Ganai said the programmes provided an opportunity to engage citizens and students in constructive activities while promoting values of service and social responsibility. She appreciated the participation of students, volunteers and other participants.
Adv. Sheikh Salman said the Srinagar district team would continue organising Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan programmes involving different sections of society and encouraging greater public participation.
