BJP Committed to People-Centric Governance: Sat Sharma Senior BJP leaders address organizational meeting at Doda

Doda, December 23, 2025:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday held an organizational meeting for its Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar organizational districts at the party office in Doda.
The meeting was addressed by J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha Member Sat Sharma, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma, General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul and General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria.
The meeting was attended by party MLAs, former and contested MLAs, district prabharis and seh-prabharis, district presidents and district general secretaries. BJP Vice-President and District Prabhari Rajiv Charak, Secretary and District Prabhari Pawan Sharma, District Prabhari Gajay Singh Rana, district presidents Neelam Langeh, Babu Ram Sharma and Ravi Parihar, MLAs Shakti Raj Parihar, Dalip Singh Parihar and Shagun Parihar, along with senior leaders Rakesh Thakur, Tariq Keen and other party functionaries, were also present.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma emphasized the need to strengthen outreach efforts of party MLAs and senior leaders at the grassroots level. He said the BJP is a party of the people and for the people, drawing its strength from a deep-rooted connection with the masses. He stressed that party representatives must reach every household, particularly in remote and far-flung areas, to ensure that welfare schemes launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reach the last beneficiary.
Sat Sharma said the BJP seeks public support not for personal power but to serve the people selflessly. He described the BJP as the natural party of every nationalist citizen, committed to building a corruption-free, poverty-free and developed India in line with the vision of “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.
Sunil Sharma highlighted the role of BJP MLAs in countering what he termed false and misleading narratives being spread by parties such as the National Conference, Congress and PDP. He said these parties have a record of misleading the public and hindering development, whereas the BJP has delivered governance based on performance and accountability. He urged party leaders to expose these narratives at the grassroots level by highlighting development works and welfare initiatives of the Modi government.
Ashok Koul reviewed the ongoing organizational programmes and stressed disciplined implementation of party activities related to the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign, Swadeshi Mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme and the observance of Good Governance Day on December 25. He emphasized that all programmes should ensure maximum participation of the general public and prominent citizens from all sections of society.
