In a significant action against terror networks and their support systems, the Budgam Police have attached three properties belonging to Pakistan-based terrorist handlers affiliated with the proscribed outfit JKNOP. The properties are located in Khag, Chewa Beerwah, and Harwani Khansahab areas of the district.
This operation marks a major step in dismantling the ecosystem that enables and supports terrorism from across the border. According to police sources, the attached assets were identified as being used to propagate and finance unlawful activities linked to terrorism.
The crackdown was carried out under relevant provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) following due legal process and thorough investigation. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to continue action against all those involved directly or indirectly in aiding and abetting terrorism.
The Budgam Police have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement agencies, reaffirming that such strong steps will continue to isolate the terror ecosystem from peaceful society.
