CM Omar Abdullah Visits Flood-Hit Rajouri, Reviews Relief Measures and Assures Comprehensive Government Support
RAJOURI, AUGUST 6 (ANB): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday visited several flood-affected areas of Rajouri district to assess the extent of damage caused by the recent floods and interact with affected families.
During the visit, the Chief Minister conducted an on-the-spot review of the situation and inspected the ongoing relief, restoration and rehabilitation efforts. He directed the district administration to ensure prompt assistance to all affected families and expedite relief operations in the worst-hit areas.
Assuring the residents of full government support, Omar Abdullah said the administration stands firmly with the flood-affected people and will make every effort to facilitate their rehabilitation and recovery.
He instructed the concerned officials to accelerate the restoration of damaged infrastructure, ensure the uninterrupted supply of essential services and closely monitor the implementation of relief measures to minimise hardship for the affected population.
Reiterating the government's commitment to the welfare of the people, the Chief Minister said no effort would be spared in providing timely relief, rehabilitation and all necessary assistance to families affected by the recent floods.
