New Delhi: Dense fog and poor visibility disrupted rail operations in several parts of the country on Thursday, leading to significant delays in train services.
According to Indian Railways, at least 31 trains are running more than two hours behind schedule due to adverse weather conditions. The reduced visibility has affected the movement of trains, particularly during early morning hours.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check the latest status of their trains before leaving for railway stations to avoid inconvenience. Efforts are underway to regulate train movement and ensure passenger safety amid the prevailing weather conditions.
