SRINAGAR, Oct 13: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V.K. Birdi, IPS, today inaugurated a newly established General Mess at the District Police Lines (DPL) Srinagar, aimed at enhancing the welfare and working environment of police personnel.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by SSP Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, along with other senior officers and officials of the district police.
The facility is designed to provide improved dining and recreational amenities for the personnel, reflecting the department’s continued focus on the well-being of its force.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP Birdi commended the efforts of the Srinagar Police for creating a better workplace environment and reiterated the commitment of J&K Police towards the welfare and morale of its personnel.
