Jammu, February 20, 2026:ANB : J&K Lok Bhavan today celebrated the Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of both states and conveyed his best wishes for their continued health, prosperity and rapid socio-economic progress.
Addressing the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor underscored the importance of upholding the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”, stating that India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage distinguishes it globally while fostering unity and harmony among its diverse communities.
He observed that Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram are not merely geographical entities but vibrant embodiments of the nation’s cultural legacy and collective unity. Describing the two northeastern states as “shining diamonds of India,” he said their unique blend of traditional values, cultural richness and strong community bonds offers a model of resilience and harmony for the entire country.
The Lieutenant Governor also highlighted the transformative development witnessed by both states under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He paid tribute to eminent personalities and icons who have significantly contributed to the growth and identity of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. ANB
