JAMMU, DECEMBER 16: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Monday expressed deep grief over the demise of Havildar Zubair Ahmad of the 13 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI), who laid down his life in the line of duty.
Havildar Zubair Ahmad succumbed to injuries sustained in a blast during road construction work at Putaha Khan Gali in the Trehgam area of Kupwara district on December 15.
Paying tributes to the fallen soldier, the Lieutenant Governor said the nation remains eternally indebted to the selfless service and supreme sacrifice of Havildar Zubair Ahmad, who served the country with exemplary courage and dedication. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength to them to bear the irreparable loss.
