Srinagar, Dec 7: On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day 2025, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his heartfelt gratitude to the valiant personnel of the Indian Armed Forces and martyrs for their supreme sacrifice and dedicated service to the nation.
In his message, the LG urged citizens to contribute generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, emphasizing that such support helps ensure the welfare and dignity of brave soldiers and their families.
“Let us honour the courage, commitment and sacrifices of our armed forces by standing with them and supporting their welfare,” Sinha said. Armed Forces Flag Day is observed annually to recognize the contributions of India’s soldiers, sailors, and air warriors and to provide for the welfare of serving personnel, veterans, and their dependents.
