Jammu, January 18, 2026: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Sunday reviewed the ongoing development works of the Pachokhar Digital Library, dedicated to Nari Shakti, at Zamania in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh through virtual mode.
The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the initiative, terming it a significant step towards strengthening the objectives of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao programme by promoting girls’ education and empowering rural communities.
He said education broadens opportunities and paves the way for a better future, stressing that collective efforts are required to ensure that no girl is deprived of education and that adequate support is provided for their higher studies.
Observing that daughters play a vital role in driving social change and progress, the Lieutenant Governor noted that educated women help challenge social discrimination and contribute to building an inclusive and equitable society.
He also underlined the importance of women’s economic empowerment, stating that financial independence is essential for ensuring dignity and self-reliance in an evolving socio-economic environment.
The Lieutenant Governor emphasised that initiatives like the Pachokhar Digital Library should be replicated in other regions to enable young women to participate confidently in the nation’s journey towards development.
